A four-story parking garage collapsed in lower Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon, April 18, killing one person and injuring at least five, according to
officials.Authorities, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams and
FDNY Chief of Operations John Esposito, said a garage worker was killed, four people were hospitalized, and one person refused treatment at the site.
