A layer of ice encased a vehicle in a neighborhood outside Detroit, Michigan, on Thursday, January 23, following a water main break amid
frigid temperatures in the region.According to local news station
WJBK, a water main broke on Monday in a Dearborn Heights neighborhood, and water splashed onto vehicles as temperatures plummeted well below zero.The outlet
reported, citing Paul Vanderplow with the Dearborn Heights Office of the Mayor, that members of the Detroit Department of Public Works toiled to free the frozen vehicles.Adam Bidock captured this footage on Thursday showing a sedan coated in a thick layer of ice.
