Lilac Fire Continues to Burn in San Diego County

Firefighters battling the Lilac Fire in Bonsall, in San Diego County, California, announced on Tuesday morning, January 21, that it was 35-percent contained after burning through 85 acres.The brush fire started near Old Highway 395 (I-15) and Lilac Road in Bonsall, according to Cal Fire.Red Flag warnings were in effect across much of southern California as a weeks-long period of dangerous fire conditions continued.Footage posted by Christopher Paetow to his @chrispaetow Instagram account shows the fire burning in hills near Bonsall early Tuesday morning.
