A couple in Graceville, Minnesota, showcased just how cold temperatures were on Tuesday morning, January 21, by throwing boiling water into the air and watching it rapidly evaporate and freeze.Carol Bauer told Storyful that she and her husband played around with the water, which was dyed with food coloring, and even engaged in a squirt gun fight. Bauer said her husband won that battle.The National Weather Service (NWS) issued cold weather advisories for northern Minnesota on Tuesday, cautioning of dangerously low wind chills. The weather service warned that the lowest wind chills could reach 40 degrees below zero.The NWS forecast warmer temperatures for the rest of the week, reaching up to 30 degrees with some chance for light snow flurries.
