The honorary four-legged mayor of a Colorado mountain town - a Bernese mountain dog named Parker - gave his ‘paw of approval’ at Loveland Ski Area on Thursday, November 7, ahead of its official opening day on Saturday.Parker, seen in this footage examining fresh snow at Loveland, was named the honorary mayor of Georgetown in February 2020, and is also the official mascot of the ski resort, according to his official website.Multiple winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings were issued for the area on Friday and Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
