Snow caused difficult driving conditions through Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains on Friday, October 18.The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pueblo said late Friday morning that light-to-moderate snow was falling along Highway 160 over Wolf Creek Pass, “with the roadway becoming slushy and icy in spots.”This footage posted by William Munny just after 9 am shows a slow plow clearing the road ahead of him. Munny said he drove back through the pass several hours later and found the road to be “clear… for now.”“Steady and heavy snow” would fall from Friday into Sunday, the NWS said.
