Witnesses in Sanlucar de Guadiana, Spain alerted police of drug trafficking in the area on February 9. Civil Guard officers responding to the call found the criminals and engaged them in a high-speed chase. The suspects got away but left their vehicles behind. Inside their cars were 55 wrapped bales of cocaine weighing a total of 1.7 tons with a street value of over $100 million.
