A group of local musicians performed down New Orleans’ Bourbon Street on Thursday, January 2, after at least 14 people killed in a vehicle ramming attack the day before.This footage was captured by Peter Corte who told Storyful he saw “New Orleans musicians, city leaders, and other officials” parading down the street. “Taking back #BourbonStreet,” Conte wrote in an Instagram post.According to the FBI, 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a US citizen from Texas, drove a rented Ford pickup truck through a crowd of people at around 3:15 am on New Year’s Day. After plowing into the crowd, Jabbar exited the vehicle and fired on local law enforcement, who returned fire and fatally wounded Jabbar.
