The National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) has released footage showing investigators analyzing the flight data recorder of the plane involved in a midair collision with a helicopter in Washington last week.American Airlines Flight 5342 and a US Army Black Hawk helicopter collided over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on January 28. Dramatic dashcam video, verified by Storyful, captured the moment of impact.The NTSB said its investigators, along with members of the salvage crew, recovered the wreckage of the Bombardier CRJ700 and Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk involved in a collision, and transported flight data and cockpit voice recorders to an NTSB laboratory in DC for evaluation.On February 3, the plane’s fuselage and jet engines were recovered from the river.
