Eighteen children were welcomed into the embrace of their new forever families during a Home for the Holidays event at the Ocala Courthouse, Florida, on December 13, just in time for Christmas.Adding a festive touch to the occasion, Santa and Mrs Claus handed adoption certificates to the children before Circuit Judge Stacy Youmans presented each family with an ornament engraved with their name, the Ocala Gazette reported.After the ceremony, families celebrated at a holiday party filled with gifts, cookies, and the opportunity to take photos with Santa.By the end of the event, 13 families had officially adopted 18 children.
