Residents watched as the Sunset Fire broke out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 8, with thousands of residents ordered to evacuate the Hollywood Hills.Footage filmed and posted to Instagram by user @sgiwrld shows the Sunset Fire igniting on Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles, California. Smoke from the fire was visible in the San Fernando Valley and Studio City.Later footage shows residents watching the growing fire in the distance on Wednesday night.The Sunset Fire had burned over 60 acres as of Thursday, according to Cal Fire.The majority of evacuation orders in the neighborhood were lifted at midnight, local news reported.
