Snow and sleet covered the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area, causing hazardous road conditions on Thursday, January 9.Wintry weather prompted road closures and traffic delays around the metro area, according to local reports.The National Weather Service warned “most of North Texas” could expect “heavy mixed precipitation” including snow and sleet until noon on Friday.
