Hundreds of people fleeing conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) arrived at a United Nations site in Rugerero, Rwanda, on Wednesday, January 29.Footage from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) shows the makeshift site in Rugerero, where they say more than 1,100 asylum seekers have come for refuge from the conflict in Goma.UNHCR said the site has been specifically designated by the government of Rwanda to receive new arrivals from DRC.According to UNHCR, the conflict has displaced over 6.4 million people within DRC, which is also host to more than 525,000 refugees from nearby Central African Republic, South Sudan, Rwanda and Burundi.
