Crews continued removing storm debris in parts of Florida’s Pinellas County on Sunday, October 6, as forecasters warned of another strong storm system headed for the region early next week.Footage posted to Facebook by the City of Treasure Island shows crews clearing streets in the city on Sunday morning, saying, “The city is working on getting as much debris removed as possible before the next storm.”The City of Treasure Island said National Guard members had been activated in the area.National Hurricane Center said Milton was “quickly intensifying” and had strengthened into a hurricane as of Sunday afternoon.The storm was forecast to arrive on Florida’s west coast on Wednesday.
