Emergency crews battled an out-of-control bushfire in Victoria, Australia, as it encroached on communities in Mafeking and Watgania on December 20.Footage shared by Victoria’s combined emergency services, VicEmergency, shows huge plumes of smoke wafting from Grampians National Park on Friday.An emergency warning was in place for Mafeking and Watgania with VicEmergency urging locals to evacuate the areas immediately.According to local news reports, the blaze burned through more than 12,000 hectares (29,652 acres) of bushland after it was sparked by lightning on Monday.
