Ice coated trees across parts of Maryland on Thursday, February 6, after an ice storm
brought sleet and freezing rain to the region, according to the
National Weather Service (NWS).Drone operator Tim Pruss captured this video of treetops covered in ice and posted it to
X, where he goes by the handle @MyDronePro.The NWS issued ice storm warnings and winter weather advisories on Thursday and warned of ice accumulations up to 0.5 inches. The weather service
said as temperatures warmed, the freezing rain turned to light-moderate rain and ended in the afternoon.The
