Drone footage showed a home damaged and trees uprooted after a possible tornado touched down in Kentucky’s Rockcastle County during severe thunderstorms early on February 6.The National Weather Service (NWS) said its survey team had preliminarily confirmed that a tornado occurred in Rockcastle County on Thursday. “The team is continuing the survey into Jackson and Owsley Counties. Additional details will be released as they become known,” the NWS said.Footage captured by Johnnie Nicholson showed a home with parts of its roof removed and scattered across its yard. A number of trees on the property were also seen to have been uprooted. Further trees in the woodland surrounding the property were also seen damaged.Officials told LEX 18 that four to five homes along the road were damaged.No injuries were reported.
