Some enthusiastic teamwork helped rescue a massive fish stuck in shallow waters in Burdekin, Queensland.This footage was captured by Brendan Hervey, who told Storyful that he found a big barramundi stuck in a thick weed bed in shallow water, and decided that the fish needed a literal helping hand to be freed.“We all worked together to capture her by hand and relocate her to deeper salt water to keep the breeding cycle going,” Hervey said.He said the fish was “one of the biggest barra” he’d ever seen. “The best feeling was watching the big girl swim away to breed more for the younger generation to come … Once in a life time fish that was,” Hervey said.
