A lifeboat crew rescued a golden retriever that was being swept out to sea in Porthcawl, Wales, on Saturday, February 1, footage released by the
Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) shows.The RNLI said the rescue dog, Seren, was “exhausted and was being swept further and further out to sea by the tidal current.”Seren’s owner, Andrea, told the RNLI that her dog had jumped out of her car and darted towards the sea after being “spooked” by a noise.This footage shows Seren being lifted out of the sea and into a lifeboat, before being transported back to the shore to be reunited with her owner.
