Electricity cut in and out repeatedly across the Tampa Bay area as Hurricane Milton made landfall on Wednesday night, October 9, bringing extreme wind and rain to western Florida.Footage captured by live traffic cameras shortly after 10pm shows street lighting flashing on and off along the the Pinellas Bayway in St. Petersburg.Numerous St Pete residents reported transformers blowing out as the storm lashed the city.
