A snow squall passed over western Wisconsin on Wednesday, December 4, bringing intense wintry weather to La Crosse, footage shows.The National Weather Service (NWS) said it had a “quick but hard-hitting snow shower hammer our office” in La Crosse.“Quick coating on pavement and gusty winds causing blowing snow,” the weather service wrote on X. “These aren’t lasting long at any given location, but can cause sudden travel difficulties!”A wind advisory was in effect for portions of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa until midnight, per the NWS.
