Locals in New Orleans, Louisiana, were seen enjoying “historic” snowfall on Tuesday, January 21, getting out and about to savor the unusual wintry conditions.This footage was captured by Kaare Johnson, who said that between 4-6 inches of snow had fallen around Tulane University.“People are everywhere, out and about enjoying this once in a lifetime-type situation,” Johnson said.The National Weather Service said said there was “historic snowfall” for much of New Orleans, and urged residents to avoid traveling if possible.
