A suspect fleeing police during a car chase crashed into a home in Berkley, Michigan, on January 19, footage here shows.The Berkley Department of Public Safety said “officers attempted to stop a white Dodge Journey near Edwards and Greenfield for operating without insurance and an outstanding warrant on the suspected driver. The driver refused to stop, fleeing from officers.”Footage here shows the car crashing into a home on Hamilton before the suspect climbs out of the window and flees on foot.Police said the 31-year-old suspect “was quickly apprehended by Berkley officers a short distance from the crash site.”“The individual also showed signs of operating under the influence of narcotics” and was “in possession of cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms.”The police department was seeking charges for fleeing and eluding, possession of cocaine, resisting/obstructing a police officer, possession of psilocybin mushrooms, and operating under the influence of narcotics.
