Officers with the St Louis County Police Department took advantage of the end of the pool season to give their K-9s water training, video released by the department on September 6 shows.The officers took the K-9s to the River Rapids Waterpark in Ste Genevieve to practice water rescues and apprehension techniques, the police department said.Several pools in the St Louis area invited people to take their dogs swimming on September 5, after the facilities closed to humans for the season, local news reported.
